Yes it is, seems to me they haven't made lead based paint in 40 years so if its still on the wall after all these warnings and information about it whos at fault. The idiot whos too cheap to buy a can of paint even cheapo stuff to paint over and seal the problem. Thats who. Id like the state to produce 1 kid who can be defintivlely shown to have problems from lead paint. If its because you ate it , then thats your parents fault for not supervising you and teaching you right from wrong. Its like smoking after you know it'll kill you. Hell I and everyone I know grew up with this stuff all around and I dont know of or have ever met anyone who was effected by it.

Reviews of environmental impact assessment (EIA) practice, particularly by industrial proponents, have highlighted common shortfalls. EIA would benefit from more `common sense', which is not very common. For example, issue scoping usually includes too many inconsequential factors, and issues not directly affecting project decisions. Consideration of significance is often vague, misleading or inconsistent. Quality of environmental impact statements (EISs) leaves much to be desired, with EIS documents of little use to stakeholders. EIA guidance is a possible solution but is not always focused or applied sensibly. While we suggest more effective signals from government EIA regulators to project proponents to overcome these difficulties, our primary intention is to evoke discussion and provoke practitioners to take up the fight to improve the quality and integrity of EIAs.

My lovely little Deni frozen dessert maker arrived last week and I have put the thing to work with the two recipes below. Both were taken from the Deni instruction booklet that came in the box, but I altered both considerably to fit my dietary restrictions. The first is a recipe for frozen yogurt and the second is for ice cream. I really liked the frozen yogurt and would definitely do another version, but the ice cream was pretty icky--and I trashed it. The machine itself worked really quickly on the chilled frozen yogurt mixture, and was done in minutes. It churned the losing apricot ice cream for a long time to no avail. I will try again, but for now, enjoy the recipes and photos below.
